Sunshine Flowers

Happy HOT HOT August!!! I really envy all you Northern folks right now. I heard on the news that some folks in Texas decided to bake their chocolate chip cookies outside. Only took them 3 hours. YIKES.

These little beauties above are some "no-kill" flowers I made for market. I got the idea and instruction from this VERY talented stamper. I LOVE the look, but it's very time consuming. Well worth it in the end, because it SOLD at market. Yeah Me.

Thanks for stopping in. . .

*Please let me know if you would like information on the products and tools used. I am a "mostly" Stampin' Up girl, but I do wander now and then.

3 by 3 Note Cards

Happy Hot Summer Everyone!

I made these cute little 3x3 note cards for my booth at our local Farmers' Market. Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. While aiming for natural lighting, I can't see a darn thing to review the images on my camera screen. I keep telling myself I need to sign up for a camera/Photoshop class, yet another item to add to my list. LOL. I am not one for coloring, but I sure had fun with these images. LoVe, LoVe, LoVe my blender pens.

Actually, I started selling items at the Farmers' Market in May of this year and I must admit, it is going REALLY well. I mean REALLY well. I have assorted cards, journals, bookmarks, flower (paper) pots and last week I tried to sell some of my homemade pickles. No luck with the pickles, but I sold some cards and received some orders for next Saturday. I will begin posting some of my items. Luckily, I did take pics before market day. Also, I will get a good picture of my stand to share with everyone. In case, anyone else wants to do the same at their town markets. I did get some gReAt ideas on SCS, but still had a HUGE learning curve. Wasn't always prepared for the rain and wind. Anyhoo - I am having a blast and love visiting with my repeat customers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Live Every Moment

Good Afternoon! I thought I would share this quick and easy card. Sorry about the "bright" picture. I took this in the evening and my flash went a bit crazy :o( I made this baby for our nephew's 21st birthday, hence the title, "Live Every Moment." I had forgotten about all the wonderful rub-ons that Stampin' Up sells. I bought a lot of these in the beginning, as they were a cheaper alternative to purchasing sentiment stamps. Very fun and easy to use. . .

Spring Dreams - PPA84

Good morning! What a perfect day to submit a "Spring-related" card. It is bright, sunny and semi-warm here. This is my submission for the Pals Paper Arts Inspiration Spring/Easter Challenge. Actually, the card itself has nothing to do with Spring, but instead was sent as a "congratulations" card. One of our wonderful babysitters just found out she was accepted into the Air Force Academy. Quite an accomplishment and one she worked hard to earn. Needless to say, we are VERY proud. I must also admit that this card was shamelessly copied from the front cover of my 2010-2011 coveted Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog. What a perfect tool for much needed mojo. I get all gooey and mushy when I look through my cattie. Have a wonderful weekend!

Plus, thoughts and prayers for the families in Japan. So tragic.

Circle Scallop Baby Card - Mojo 180

I thought it was time to dust off the ole' blog and try it again. I am "attempting" to make an effort to share some of my creations, since I am always crusin' around other blogs and getting tons of inspiration. I believe it's time to give back. . . I needed a baby card, plus I have always wanted to participate in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I have good intentions every week, but then comes reality. Must admit - not thrilled with the card, but it will be sent anyway. Otherwise, she will be entering kindergarten before I get another one made. Hee, hee.
Thanks for stopping by - leave a comment. It helps keep me motivated.
